Sharmans Cross Junior School School Prospectus - page 8

Sharmans Cross Junior School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and
expects all adults to share this commitment
well as gain some experience of their new school’s routines. Parents also have the
opportunity to attend a New Intake Evening to meet their child’s class teacher and
learn more about school life. During the course of the year the school holds
workshops where parents are invited to come in and work alongside their children.
There is also a Summer Open Evening where children celebrate the work that they
have done throughout the year.
When telephoning the school please ask for Mrs Pearson, Office Manager, Mrs
Trumper, Administrative Assistant, Mrs Cheryl Edwards or Mrs Susan Haywood,
School Bursars all of whom will be very pleased to help with any enquiries.
When you are calling personally, always report to the School Office on arrival, sign in
the Visitors Book and wear a visitors badge when on the school premises. We ask
that you do not go directly to the classrooms as it is most important, for safety
reasons, that we are always aware of who is on the school premises.
ADMISSION
